Effective date: 31 October 2026 · Last reviewed: 31 October 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your access to and use of Hashtagger.lol, including its pages, hashtag library, search and filtering features, copy tools and related content (together, the “Service”). By visiting or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. About the Service
Hashtagger.lol provides searchable, ready-made hashtag suggestions grouped by topics and social platforms. The Service is intended to help visitors discover and copy hashtag ideas. Unless a page expressly says otherwise, the Service is provided free of charge and does not require an account.
The Service is a general-purpose reference and convenience tool. It is not a social network, marketing agency, advertising agency, analytics provider or representative of any social platform.
3. Eligibility and lawful use
You may use the Service only where you are legally permitted to do so. If you use it on behalf of a business or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with laws and regulations that apply to you.
4. Permitted use
Subject to these Terms, you may browse the website, search the hashtag library, copy available suggestions and adapt them for lawful personal or commercial content. You should review each suggestion and use only tags that accurately and appropriately describe the content you publish.
5. Prohibited activities
You must not, and must not help another person to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive or infringing purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, its hosting environment, accounts, systems or data.
- Interfere with, overload, damage or disrupt the Service, or bypass measures intended to protect it.
- Upload, transmit or distribute malware, malicious code or content designed to compromise systems or users.
- Use bots, scripts or automated methods to access or collect data from the Service in a manner that imposes unreasonable load or circumvents technical restrictions.
- Copy, scrape, reproduce, redistribute, sell or commercially exploit substantial portions of the website's original compilation or content without permission.
- Misrepresent your affiliation with Hashtagger.lol or suggest that we endorse you, your content, products or services.
- Violate the rights, terms or policies of another person, business or platform.
6. Hashtag suggestions and your responsibility
Hashtag suggestions are provided as general ideas. They may be broad, outdated, unsuitable for a particular post or interpreted differently by different audiences. We do not review or approve your social media posts.
You are solely responsible for choosing hashtags, checking their current meaning and suitability, reviewing the content you publish, and ensuring that your posts and use of hashtags comply with applicable law and the rules of the platform concerned. Do not use a hashtag merely because it appears in a pack.
7. No promise of reach or results
We do not promise or guarantee increased reach, impressions, followers, engagement, traffic, search rankings, leads, revenue, sales or virality. Social platform algorithms, moderation practices, search features and hashtag rules can change without notice. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your content, audience, account, timing and platform decisions.
8. Intellectual property and website materials
Unless identified otherwise, the website's branding, logo, original text, visual design, page layouts, code and the selection and arrangement of the hashtag library are owned by or licensed to the website operator and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you. You may use individual hashtag suggestions as short labels in your own content, subject to applicable law and the rules of the platform where you use them. You may not reproduce or republish substantial parts of the website or its original compilation without prior written permission.
If you believe material on the Service infringes your rights, contact us with the relevant page, a description of the material and enough information for us to understand and review your concern.
9. Third-party platforms, websites and services
The Service may refer to or link to third-party platforms, websites, tools or services. Those services are controlled by their respective providers and may have separate terms, privacy notices and policies. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, decisions or practices. Your use of a third-party service is at your own discretion and subject to its terms.
Hashtagger.lol is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or officially connected to Instagram, TikTok, X, Mastodon, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest or LinkedIn. Names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
10. Advertising and analytics
The website may display advertisements, including advertisements served by third-party advertising providers, and may use analytics or similar technologies to understand website usage and improve the Service. Third-party providers may use cookies or similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy and their own policies. We do not control the content of every third-party advertisement and do not endorse an advertised product or service merely because an advertisement appears on the website.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected, used, stored and shared. Please read it before using the website.
12. Availability, updates and changes to the Service
We may add, change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, including individual hashtag packs, categories, features or pages. We aim to keep the website accessible, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, complete or free from errors. Maintenance, technical issues, hosting problems or events outside our control may affect access.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and all information, suggestions and materials on it are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that information will be accurate or current, that defects will be corrected, or that the website will be free of harmful components.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, consumer right or other protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, data or anticipated savings arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be limited for fraud, intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
15. Your responsibility for claims arising from misuse
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for losses, claims and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights. This section does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own conduct or where such responsibility cannot lawfully be imposed on you.
16. Suspension or restriction of access
We may restrict or suspend access to the Service where we reasonably believe that a user has breached these Terms, created a security risk, interfered with the Service or exposed us or others to legal or operational harm. We may also do so where required by law or to protect the website and its visitors.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, our practices or applicable requirements. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated review or effective date. Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the changes to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree with an update, stop using the Service.
18. General provisions
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent legally possible. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a business or website transfer, subject to applicable law.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are subject to the applicable laws and consumer protections that govern your use of the Service. Any dispute will be handled by the courts or dispute-resolution bodies that have jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory rights you may have under the laws that apply to you.
